Lesson summary

This lesson introduces the fundamental concept of physical activity and explores its critical role in maintaining a healthy life. In Ghana today, as lifestyles become more sedentary (sitting for long hours studying, using transportation, or for entertainment), understanding the importance of staying active is more crucial than ever. This knowledge empowers learners to make informed choices that will benefit their physical, mental, and social well-being not just during their school years, but for their entire lives. We will explore simple, everyday activities that count towards a healthy lifestyle, many of which are already part of our Ghanaian culture.
