The teacher revises the previous lesson on the meaning of the local government

Pupils  pay attention

EXPLANATION

She explains the meaning of the local government

The local government is the third tier government in Nigeria

DEMONSTRATION

Using the pictures, she describes the Local Government chairman

- He is the head of the Local Government

- He is elected into the office and not appointed

- There are 774 Local government chairmen in Nigeria

- He is ably assisted by the Vice chairman, secretary and supervision
