  • Identify and explain the meaning of primary colours
  • Describe Nigeria National colours
  • Draw Nigeria flag

INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with a song. She explains primary colours as those colours that cannot be made with mixtures of other pigments/colours

NOTE

Primary colours are called primary because they cannot be made with mixtures of other pigments or colours. The primary colours are- red, blue, yellow. The Nigeria flag consists of two colours: Green and white. Green stands for agriculture and white stands for unity and peace.
