STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with the “baby Jesus’ song. She explains that Emmanuel means God with us

EXPLANATION

She further explains telling the story of the woman with the Alabaster oil. She also tells them ways they have been saved by Jesus

Using Bible Verses she  tells tem how Jesus has saved man

The teacher writes a short note on the board for the pupils to copy

NOTE

Emmanuel means God with us. It was the name given to Jesus by the revelation of the angel.

   There was once a woman who committed adultery of the name Mary Magdalene and sought for Jesus after she had used all her savings to buy an alabaster oil. She then poured the entire oil on the foot of Jesus and wiped the foot with her hair and Jesus saved her from sin and death.

        Ways Christians have been saved by Jesus

1) By the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. He died and saved humanity form sin and death

2) By raising the dead

3) By healing the sick

4)By delivering man from unclean spirits
