SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

  2. Name examples of simple machines
  3. Classify simple machine used at home and in school
  4. Describe ways of booting
  5. List the items used in cleaning the mouth
  6. Demonstrate how to brush the teeth correctly

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Pictures/charts of people practicing personal hygiene like brushing their teeth, spoon, sharpeners, ruler, razor blade, see-saw, grinder etc, tooth paste, tooth brush, water

Simple machines have few or no moving parts. They make work, which is the amount of energy that's needed to move an object across a distance, easier for us by allowing us to use less effort, the force used to move an object.

NOTE

The teacher then explains what booting means

Booting simply means to start up the computer

 

She further explains that there are two types of booting

1. cold booting

2. warm booting

 

She then highlights the steps in booting

1. Locate your computer's power button.

2. Power on your computer

3. Wait for the operating system to load.

4. Login to your operating system.
