STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with the song ‘make me a good child like Samuel’. She explains at to obey means to do the will of someone in a higher position .

Pupils  pay attention

EXPLANATION

She tells the pupils the story of how Jesus turned water to win at the wedding in Galilee. Emphasizing that he did so not because it was His time of manifestation but to do the will of His mother. She then lists some benefits of Obedience

Using Bible texts and charts she shows the pupils Bible verses and pictures of ways God showed His love to man

The teacher writes a short note on the board for the pupils to copy

NOTE

To obey means to do the will of a higher authority like our parents, elders, GOD. Jesus taught us to obey by being an example Himself. Though it wasn’t yet His time for manifestation, He chose to obey His mother Mary y doing her will and turning the water to wine.
