STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with song “Read your Bible, pray everyday”. She tells the pupils personal prayers are those prayers we pray for ourselves like ‘May God provide for me and bless me’

EXPLANATION

She further recites the Lord’s prayer and  mentions the types of prayers

Pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

Using Bible texts and chart she shows and teaches them the Lord’s prayer

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board for the pupils to copy

The pupils copy the note from the board

Personal prayers are  those prayers we pray for ourselves such as prayer for personal provision, growth and sustenance, for employment.

As it is in Heaven

Give us this day

Our daily bread

And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil
