STEP 1: INTRODUCTION

STEP 2: EXPLANATION

- Explain the process of adding 2-digit numbers by breaking the tens and ones (e.g., 20 + 15). - Demonstrate on the board.

- Listen to the explanation and follow along.

STEP 3: INTERACTIVE SESSION

- Ask pupils to add 2-digit numbers (e.g., 12 + 15, 25 + 10) using counters or drawing the numbers.

- Add the numbers with the teacher’s guidance.

STEP 4: NOTE TAKING
