Public enlightenment campaigns are programmes and projects used to create awareness to the public about matters that affect people in the society e.g drug abuse, HIV/AIDS etc
She explains the meaning of HIV/AIDS education HIV- Human Immunodeficiency Virus AIDS- Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome
HIV/AIDS education is simply educating the people about the meaning, causes and prevention of HIV/AIDS
She also explains the importance of HIV/AIDS education 1. It helps to maintain and develop safer behaviours 2. it reduces the stigma and discrimination towards people affected by or are living with HIV/AIDS 3. It equips us on how to treat and care for people living with HIV/AIDS
