1)Explain what we must do as children of God

2)Discuss instances where the Bible refers to God as our father

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Holy Bible: Gen 9:1-3, Gen 2:7-16, A chart of a song that teaches us that God is our father. www.bible study God is our father

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC	The teacher introduces the topic with the make me a good child like Samuel song. She explains that as good children of God we must obey God	Pupils pay attention
STEP 2 EXPLANATION	She further explains that God is our father because He created us	Pupils pay attention and participate
STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION	Using bible texts and a song she makes it clear to the pupils that God is our Heavenly father	Pupils pay attention and participate

NOTE

As good children of God, we must: obey God, love God, respect God, honor God and keep all His laws. God formed man from dust and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being.
