1)Explain what we must do as children of God

2)Discuss instances where the Bible refers to God as our father

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Holy Bible: Gen 9:1-3, Gen 2:7-16, A chart of a song that teaches us that God is our father. www.bible study God is our father

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with the make me a good child like Samuel song. She explains that as good children of God we must obey God

EXPLANATION

She further explains that God is our father  because He created us

DEMONSTRATION

Using bible texts and a song she makes it clear to the pupils that God is our Heavenly father

The teacher writes a short note on the board for the pupils to copy

NOTE

As good children of God, we must: obey God, love God, respect God, honor God and keep all His laws. God formed man from dust and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being.
