NOTE
Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to the family of Joseph and Mary. He was born in a manger because His parents heeding to the warning of an angel fled from the wrath of King Herod but could find no place to lay but a manger.
We celebrate Christmas because it signifies the day Jesus was born.
