STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher introduces the topic with the song on Baby Jesus. She tells the pupils the story of how Jesus was born in a manger.

She further explains that Christmas signifies the birth of Jesus Christ

Using Bible texts and carol songs she explains the birth of Jesus Christ to the pupils

The teacher writes a short note on the board for the pupils to copy

NOTE

Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to the family of Joseph and Mary. He was born in a manger because His parents heeding to the warning of an angel fled from the wrath of King Herod but could find no place to lay but a manger.

We celebrate Christmas because it signifies the day Jesus was born.
