1) List and identify some common crop plants around us

2) Discuss the reasons for daily care of the body

The teacher revises the previous lesson on the importance of agriculture and some parts of the body

She introduces the new topic by listing some common crop plants around us

1. Flowers e.g hibiscus flowers, rose flower, sun flower, etc

2. Trees- mango trees, iroko tree, coconut trees, almond trees etc

3. Food crops- maize, beans, rice, tomatoes, etc

4. Weeds- water leaf, elephant grass, carpet grass etc

She further explains why we should care for our body daily

1. to prevent dirts and germs

2. to look clean and attractive

3. for healthy living

4. to prevent body and mouth odour
