INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher revises the previous lesson on the important places in the community

EXPLANATION

She explains the rules in the community

1. Orderliness- It means doing things in an orderly form

2. Obedience- it means doing what you are asked to do

3. Honesty- this is speaking the truth regardless of who is concerned

4. Sanitation- this is keeping the home and environment clean always

5. Peaceful coexistence- this is living peacefully with others

6. Respect- this is high regard for parents and elders in the community

7. Cooperation- this is working together with others in order to achieve same interest and goals

Pupils pay attention and participate

Using pictures, she demonstrates the roles of members of the community

1. Payment of taxes and levies

2. Community development through sanitation, community development projects, festivals etc

3. Upbringing of the young ones of the community rightly
