Paul on Damascus Road

After Paul received the letters from the high priest, he began his journey to Damascus. When he got near the city, he saw a light shining around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice which said “Saul, Saul, why do you do this bad things to me. “The voice said that he is Jesus whom Paul had been trying to hurt. He told Paul to enter the city so that he could be directed on what to do. Paul could not see anything with his eyes when he rose up. He was led by the hand to Damascus.

Paul’s Conversation and Baptism

The lord spoke to one of the followers of Jesus in Damascus through a vision. His name was Ananias. God told him to go to the house of Judas in a street called straight. At the same time, Paul also saw in a vision that Ananias came to lay his hands on him so that he could see again. Ananias went to Paul and prayed for him. After the prayed, Paul began to see again and was baptised.
