  2. Practice respectful greetings to each group.
  3. Understand why respect is important.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show picture cards of parents, elders, teachers, and helpers.

Discuss why we respect each person.

Role-play greetings for different people.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Children greet parents, teachers, and visitors politely in role-play.

Practice being kind and following respectful behavior during play.

Materials Needed:

Picture cards of different people

Family photos

Teacher and community helper photos

Respect chart

 

Movement Break:

Children line up and greet each “person” in role-play scenarios.

 

Creative Time:

Draw people they respect and show how they greet them.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Who do we respect at home?”

Children respond: “Parents and grandparents.”

Teacher: “Who do we respect at school?”

Children respond: “Teachers and helpers.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
