  2. Differentiate between warm and cold safely.
  3. Understand hot objects can burn and are dangerous.
  4. Relate hot objects to daily experiences (sun, stove, hot water).

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show pictures of the sun, fire, stove, and hot water.

Pupils repeat: “hot, sun, fire, stove, water.”

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Demonstrate warm vs cold water safely.

Discuss rules: “Don’t touch hot things.”

Identify sun as hot and relate to outdoor safety (hats, shade).

Materials Needed:

Pictures of hot objects (sun, stove, fire)

Warm water (safe for touching)

Cold water

Safety charts

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to touch sun, warm water, and cool water safely.

 

Creative Time:

Draw sun and stove. Colour them red or yellow to show heat.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Hot things can burn us. Be careful.”

Pupils repeat: “hot, burn, careful, sun, fire, stove.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
