  4. Practice safe touching and pouring of water.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Teacher shows water in cup/bottle. Pupils observe and repeat: “water.”

Teacher shows pictures of water sources.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils touch water safely.

Pupils participate in handwashing demonstration.

Teacher demonstrates watering plants with water.

 

Materials Needed:

Cup/bottle of water

Pictures of tap, well, rain, river

Basin

Soap

Watering can

Charts

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to drink water and wash hands.

 

Creative Time:

Draw a water droplet or a glass of water.

Colour rain, river, and tap.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We drink water, wash with water, water plants.”

Pupils repeat: “water, drink, wash, plants.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
