  2. Understand that the stomach holds the food we eat.
  3. Relate eating to the stomach.
  4. Recognize safe touching of tummy area.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Teacher points to own stomach/tummy and says “stomach” or “tummy.”

Pupils touch their stomach area and repeat the word.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils observe simple pictures of stomach.

Teacher explains: “When we eat, food goes to the stomach.”

Pupils connect eating activity with the stomach.

 

Materials Needed:

Stomach/tummy pictures

Body diagram

Charts

Food pictures

Doll

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to eat food and place hands on stomach.

 

Creative Time:

Draw a tummy and colour inside with pretend food.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “The stomach keeps the food we eat.”

Pupils repeat: “stomach, tummy, food, eat.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
