  3. Count legs and toes with assistance.
  4. Participate in safe movement activities.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Teacher points to own legs and says “legs.” Pupils repeat.

Teacher counts toes out loud: “one, two, three…” Pupils point to their toes.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils touch their legs and toes.

Teacher demonstrates walking, running, and jumping safely.

Pupils practice movement and count “one, two” legs and “one to ten” toes.

 

Materials Needed:

Legs and toes pictures

Mirror

Charts

Body diagram

Shoes/socks

Open movement space

 

Movement Break:

Walk, jump, and tiptoe around the classroom.

 

Creative Time:

Colour a picture of legs and toes.

Trace their own feet and toes on paper.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We use our legs to walk and jump. Toes help us balance.”

Pupils repeat: “legs, toes, walk, jump, balance.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child point to their legs and toes?
✔ Can the child touch and count toes/legs with help?
✔ Can the child demonstrate safe walking or jumping?
