  3. Imitate bathing, brushing, cleaning, and tidying routines.
  4. Participate in songs, games, and demonstrations for revision.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Welcome song

Quick recap of hygiene routines (bath, body cream, brushing)

Show pictures of clean/dirty environments

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Teacher uses dolls to demonstrate bathing, brushing, and tidying.

Pupils participate by miming the actions on dolls or themselves.

Teacher asks simple questions: “Where is the soap?” “How do we make the classroom clean?”

Pupils identify hygiene materials and clean objects from pictures.

 

Materials Needed:

Dolls

Soap, sponge, towel, body cream

Toothbrush, toothpaste, cup

Cleaning materials (broom, dustpan, cloth, waste bin, duster)

Charts, pictures, video clips

 

Movement Break

Sing and act out “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”

Pretend to sweep or brush

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of clean children and clean classroom

Paste cut-outs of hygiene materials and clean objects

 

Language Development:

“Clean,” “Dirty,” “Sweep,” “Brush,” “Soap,” “Toothbrush”

Pupils repeat key words and use in context

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child point to hygiene materials?
