Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show sun/moon/star pictures for different times of day.

Practice saying greetings in the correct context.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Role-play greeting family members during morning, afternoon, evening, and bedtime.

Sing greeting songs.

Practice with peers and puppets.

 

Materials Needed:

Sun, moon, star pictures, family picture cards, time-of-day chart, greeting songs chart.

 

Movement Break:

Children walk around greeting peers with correct phrases.

 

Creative Time:

Draw family members and label with appropriate greetings.
