  2. Identify body parts shared: eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
  3. Understand that both humans and animals see, hear, smell, and eat.
  4. Compare animals and humans using simple charts.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show comparison charts of human and animal body parts.
Pupils point to body parts on themselves and pictures.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils point to human eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
Then point to same parts on animal toys/pictures.
Discuss how humans and animals share these parts.

 

Materials Needed:

Comparison charts, human pictures, animal pictures, toy animals, mirror, flashcards.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to see like a dog, hear like a cat, smell like a goat.

 

Creative Time:

Draw human and animal side by side and colour similar parts.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We have eyes, dog has eyes.”
Pupils repeat: “eyes, ears, nose, mouth, human, dog, cat, goat.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child point to similar body parts on humans and animals?
✔ Can the child understand basic similarities?
✔ Does the child participate in comparison games?
