  1. Understand that animals are living things that move.
  2. Identify body parts of animals: legs, tail, ears, eyes, nose.
  3. Recognize common animals: dog, cat, cow, goat.
  4. Imitate animal sounds.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show animal pictures and toys.
Teacher names animal and points to body parts while pupils repeat.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils touch toys or pictures of animals.
Identify legs, tail, ears, eyes, nose.
Imitate animal movements and sounds.

 

Materials Needed:

Animal pictures, toy animals, stuffed animals, videos of animals, charts, audio of animal sounds.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to be different animals: hop like a goat, crawl like a cat.

 

Creative Time:

Draw favourite animal and colour its body parts.

Language Development:

Teacher: “Dog has four legs.”
Pupils repeat: “legs, tail, ears, eyes, nose, dog, cat, cow, goat.”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
