  2. Copy teacher’s actions correctly.
  3. Participate in instruction-based games.
  4. Understand basic classroom routines.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Introduce simple instructions: “Sit down,” “Stand up,” “Come here,” “Line up.”

Demonstrate each instruction with gestures.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Children practice each instruction repeatedly throughout the day.

Play “Simon Says” (simplified version).

Use picture cards and a whistle to signal actions.

Praise immediate obedience and participation.

 

Materials Needed:

Instruction picture cards

Whistle

Colored mats for sitting

Line markers on floor

 

Movement Break:

Children follow teacher instructions while moving around the classroom.

Stand, sit, line up, and come when called.

 

Creative Time:

Draw or color actions they performed (standing, sitting, lining up).

Stick corresponding pictures on a classroom chart.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Sit down.”

Children repeat and act: “Sit down.”

Ask: “What do we do when the teacher says stand up?”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child follow one-step instructions?
✔ Does the child copy teacher actions correctly?
