  3. Understand ears are used for hearing.
  4. Recognize different sounds and count two ears.
  5. Learn ear safety: not putting things in ears.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Teacher points to ears and says “ears.”

Pupils repeat and touch their own ears.

Show pictures of ears.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Teacher demonstrates hearing with sounds (clap, bell, music).

Pupils listen carefully and identify sounds.

Pupils count their ears: “one, two.”

Discuss ear safety: “Don’t put things in your ears.”

 

Materials Needed:

Ear pictures, mirror, charts, bell, musical instruments, sound makers, doll.

 

Movement Break:

Pupils move around making different sounds.

Clap hands and stomp feet to produce sounds.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of ears.

Draw ears on a paper child outline.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We use ears to hear.”

Pupils repeat: “ears, hear, listen.”

Picture talk: “What do we use ears for?”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
