  3. Understand eyes are used for seeing.
  4. Learn to be gentle with eyes.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Teacher points to eyes and says “eyes.”

Pupils repeat and touch their own eyes.

Show pictures of eyes.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils look at different objects and observe using eyes.

Count their eyes: “one, two.”

Play gentle touching and pointing game with dolls and mirrors.

Discuss eye safety: don’t poke eyes.

 

Materials Needed:

Eye pictures, mirror, doll with visible eyes, charts, objects to look at, flashcards.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to look through binoculars.

Stretch arms while keeping eyes open.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of eyes.

Draw something they see around the classroom.

Language Development:

Teacher: “We use our eyes to see.”

Pupils repeat: “eyes, see, look.”

Picture talk: “What do we use eyes for?”

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):
