  2. Touch and explore objects safely.
  3. Name objects when pointed out.
  4. Participate in object-finding games.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show real objects one at a time (ball, cup, spoon, book, toy, chair).

Name each object clearly; children repeat.

Encourage pointing to the correct object when named.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Children touch and hold objects.

Play “Show me the …” game with real objects and picture cards.

Match objects to pictures.

Materials Needed:

Real objects: ball, cup, spoon, book, toy, chair

Picture cards

Basket for hiding and finding objects

 

Movement Break:

Hide objects in classroom and ask children to find them.

Walk around pointing to objects as teacher names them.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of common objects.

Paste cut-outs of objects on paper and name them.

 

Language Development:

Teacher says: “This is a ball.”

Children repeat: “Ball, cup, chair.”

Ask: “What is this?” (Children respond)

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child point to named objects?
✔ Can the child say the name of objects?
✔ Does the child explore objects safely?
