Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show pictures of breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Use sun pictures to show time: sunrise (morning), high sun (afternoon), sunset (evening).

Pupils repeat names of meals.

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Pupils identify breakfast, lunch, dinner in pictures and toy foods.

Relate meals to their own daily routine.

Discuss family meals and eating together.

 

Materials Needed:

Pictures of meals, sun pictures, charts, toy foods, plates, family meal pictures.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

March around simulating morning, afternoon, and evening.

 

Creative Time:

Draw a plate with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Colour the meals according to their favourite foods.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We eat breakfast in the morning.”

Pupils repeat: “breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning, afternoon, evening.”

Picture talk: “What do we eat in the morning?”
