  2. Touch and explore classroom objects safely.
  3. Understand simple uses of classroom objects.
  4. Participate in object identification games.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Welcome song.

Teacher points to classroom objects while naming them.

Pupils repeat the names.

Pupils point to objects as named.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Teacher shows real classroom objects and explains their uses: “We sit on the chair,” “We write on the board.”

Pupils touch and explore the objects.

Play “Point to the …” game with pictures and real objects.

Pupils participate in identifying objects on flashcards and charts.

 

Materials Needed:

Classroom furniture, pictures of classroom objects, charts, flashcards, toys, real objects.

 

Movement Break:

Pupils walk around the classroom pointing to objects when teacher names them.

Stretching arms toward objects.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of classroom objects.

Paste cut-out classroom objects on a paper and name each.

Language Development:

Teacher says: “This is a chair.”

Pupils repeat: “chair, table, door.”

Picture talk: “What is this?” (Table.)

 

Assessment (Observation-Based):

✔ Can the child point to a named classroom object?
✔ Can the child say the name of an object?
✔ Does the child participate in games and activities?
