  2. Demonstrate good eating habits: washing hands, sitting properly, chewing slowly, and trying new foods.
  3. Identify healthy snacks and drinks.
  4. Understand balance: healthy food regularly, treats occasionally, and not wasting food.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):
Discuss healthy eating habits using pictures of meals, snacks, and drinks.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Practice handwashing before pretend meals.

Role-play eating slowly, sitting properly, and chewing food well.

Sort snacks and drinks into healthy and less healthy groups.

 

Materials Needed:
Plates, cups, pretend food items, pictures of meals and snacks, handwashing station, storybooks on healthy eating.

 

Movement Break:
Pretend eating, serving, and clearing a meal table safely.

 

Creative Time:
Draw a healthy lunch plate or a water bottle reminder chart.
