  3. Name common fruits and their benefits.
  4. Practice washing fruits before eating and understand the importance of eating a variety of healthy foods.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):
Discuss why we eat food and how it helps our body.
Show pictures of healthy foods and fruits.

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Sort foods into body-building, energy-giving, and protective foods.

Demonstrate washing fruits properly.

Taste-test different fruits (if possible).

Discuss limiting sweets and soft drinks.

 

Materials Needed:
Pictures or real samples of foods and fruits, washing bowls, cutting boards, spoons, storybooks on healthy eating.

 

Movement Break:
Pretend shopping for healthy foods and carrying them safely.

 

Creative Time:
Draw a plate with your favorite healthy foods and fruits.
