Discuss why our bodies need to move and stay active.
Show pictures of children exercising.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Perform warm-up exercises.

Demonstrate running, jumping, skipping, and safe climbing.

Play active games to encourage movement.

Discuss hydration and stopping when tired.

 

Materials Needed:
Exercise mats, cones, skipping ropes, music, sports equipment, pictures of active children.

Dance or follow movement routines to music.

Draw a picture of yourself doing your favorite exercise.
