Review floating.
Ask: “What happens when something sinks?”

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Test objects like stone, coin, key, nail.
Sort objects into two groups: Float or Sink.
Discuss that heavy objects often sink.

 

Materials Needed:

Basin of water, stones, coins, keys, nails, sorting chart.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to sink slowly to the ground.

 

Creative Time:

Draw one object that sinks.
