Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Ask: “Do you have a pet at home?”
Show pictures of pets (dog, cat, fish, rabbit).
Discuss how pets are our friends.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Show pictures or toy animals.
Children identify which animals can be pets.
Demonstrate how to feed, give water, and gently carry a pet (using toys).
Discuss kindness and love for animals.

 

Materials Needed:

Toy animals, picture charts, pet care posters, short pet storybook.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to be different pets (bark like a dog, hop like a rabbit, swim like a fish).

 

Creative Time:

Draw your favorite pet.
