Learning Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, learners should be able to:

Demonstrate correct tooth brushing technique: up and down, circular motion.
Brush all tooth surfaces including front, back, top, and tongue gently.
Use correct amount of toothpaste and rinse properly.
Understand hygiene rules: not sharing toothbrushes, storing toothbrush upright, brushing for at least 2 minutes.

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Show proper amount of toothpaste on a brush.

Discuss importance of brushing twice daily and rinsing after brushing.

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Practical tooth brushing session: pupils brush with teacher guidance.

Show spitting out toothpaste and rinsing toothbrush afterward.

Reinforce hygiene: not sharing brushes.

Materials Needed:

Individual toothbrushes, toothpaste, large teeth model, cups for rinsing, mirrors, brushing technique posters.

Movement Break:

Pretend brushing teeth with large toothbrush props.

Creative Time:

Draw self brushing teeth and show clean teeth.
