  1. Explain why the mouth is important for eating, drinking, speaking, and tasting.
  2. Identify parts of the mouth: lips, teeth, tongue, gums.
  3. Demonstrate proper mouth care habits: brushing teeth, rinsing, avoiding dirty objects.
  4. Recognize the importance of visiting the dentist and limiting sugary foods.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Discuss how the mouth helps us eat, drink, talk, and taste.

Show pictures of healthy vs unhealthy mouths and teeth.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Demonstrate proper brushing technique using a large teeth model.

Show how to rinse mouth after eating.

Discuss not eating too many sweets and visiting the dentist regularly.

 

Materials Needed:

Large teeth model, mirrors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cups for rinsing, mouth hygiene posters, storybooks about teeth.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend brushing teeth and rinsing mouth.

 

Creative Time:

Draw a picture of healthy teeth and lips.
