  2. Identify ear parts: outer ear, ear canal, eardrum.
  3. Demonstrate safe ear care: washing outer ear, drying, not putting objects inside.
  4. Recognize how to protect ears from loud noises and when to tell adults about earaches.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Discuss how ears help us hear and what can harm them.

Show pictures of healthy ears and unsafe practices.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Demonstrate gentle washing of outer ears during bath.

Practice “safe ear care” role-play with dolls.

Discuss adult help for ear cleaning and loud noise protection.

 

Materials Needed:

Dolls, ear hygiene posters, pictures of ear parts, small towel for drying ears, storybooks about hearing and ears.

 

Movement Break:

Pretend listening carefully and cleaning ears gently.

 

Creative Time:

Draw a picture of healthy ears and show how to care for them.
