Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Review simple machines from Week 4.
Show pictures or real examples (broom, spoon, scissors).
Discuss how these tools help at home.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Demonstrate uses of:

Broom – sweeping

Spoon/Fork – eating

Scissors – cutting paper

Hammer – hitting nails (teacher demo only)

Screwdriver – tightening screws

Bottle opener/Can opener – opening containers

Wheelbarrow – carrying heavy things

Explain clearly that some tools (knife, hammer, screwdriver) are for adults only.
Discuss proper storage after use.

 

Materials Needed:

Real or toy tools (safe for children)
Picture cards
Tool storage box
Machine song chart

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to sweep, cut paper, and carry heavy things.

 

Creative Time:

Draw your favorite machine used at home.
