Circle Time:

Show simple machines one by one.
Name each machine clearly.
Let pupils touch safe tools.

 

Main Activity:

Demonstrate spoon for scooping.
Demonstrate broom for sweeping.
Match machine to its use (scissors–cut, broom–sweep).
Discuss safety (machines are not toys).

 

Materials Needed:

Real simple machines (spoon, broom, scissors)
Pictures of machines
Matching cards
Safety posters

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to scoop with a spoon.
Pretend to open a door with a handle.

Creative Time:

Colour a spoon or broom picture.
Match pictures of machines to their uses.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Scissors cut. Broom sweeps.”
Pupils repeat key words.
