Show simple examples: scissors, broom, wheelbarrow.

 

Main Activity:

Demonstrate cutting paper with scissors.
Show how broom helps us sweep.
Show how wheelbarrow helps carry things.
Discuss how work would be hard without machines.

 

Materials Needed:

Pictures of simple machines
Real tools (scissors, broom)
Toy wheelbarrow
Simple machine chart
Flashcards

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to sweep with a broom.
Pretend to carry a load in a wheelbarrow.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of simple machines.
Draw a broom or scissors.
