Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Explain sickness in simple terms.

Discuss common symptoms like fever, cough, stomach ache.

Talk about telling adults when feeling unwell.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Use dolls to show sick behavior.

Read age-appropriate sickness storybooks.

Discuss what a doctor does and how they help.

Role-play telling teacher “I don’t feel well.”

 

Materials Needed:
Doll (sick doll), doctor play set, toy thermometer, illness story books, symptom picture cards, doctor/hospital pictures

 

Movement Break:
Act like they have a cold, cough, or fever while pretending to rest

 

Creative Time:
Draw a sick doll and how it should be cared for

Language Development:
Words: “Sick,” “Doctor,” “Fever,” “Cough,” “Cold,” “Help”
Pupils repeat words during demonstrations and role-play
