Show pictures of airplane, helicopter, kite.

Make airplane sounds together.

 

Main Activity:

Watch short video or observe pictures of air vehicles.

Make simple paper airplanes.

Smell safe item from across the room to show smell travels through air.

 

Materials Needed:

Pictures of air vehicles
Toy planes
Paper for paper airplanes
Perfume or orange for smell activity
Air transport chart

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to fly like an airplane.

Spin slowly like a helicopter.

 

Creative Time:

Colour an airplane picture.

Draw a kite flying in the sky.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Airplanes fly in the air. Smells travel in the air.”
Pupils repeat: “fly, air, smell, sky.”
