Circle Time:

Practice breathing in and out.

Talk about how we need air to live.

 

Main Activity:

Inflate balloons.

Use hand fan to feel cooling effect.

Show pictures of tires and balls filled with air.

Show clothes drying in the wind.

 

Materials Needed:

Balloons
Hand fans
Pictures of tires and clothes drying
Chart of uses of air

 

Movement Break:

Fan yourself gently.

Pretend to dry clothes in the wind.

 

Creative Time:

Colour picture of a balloon.

Draw someone fanning themselves.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “We breathe air. Air keeps us alive.”
Pupils repeat: “breathe, cool, balloon, air.”

 

Assessment:

✔ Can the child demonstrate breathing?
