Discuss tongue functions: tasting, swallowing, talking.

Talk about healthy teeth habits.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Demonstrate proper brushing technique using large toothbrush and model.

Teach tooth brushing song (2 minutes).

Let pupils practice with own toothbrush.

Show rinsing and discuss dentist visits.

 

Materials Needed:
Large toothbrush, teeth model, individual toothbrushes, safe tasting foods, cups for rinsing, dentist pictures, brushing song chart, timer

 

Movement Break:

Pretend brushing and rinsing teeth with hand motions.

 

Creative Time:

Sequence cards showing brushing routine.

Draw or color toothbrush and toothpaste.

 

Language Development:

Words: “Brush,” “Floss,” “Rinse,” “Dentist,” “Teeth.”

Pupils repeat during practice and discussion.
