Discuss uses: drinking, bathing, washing.

Conduct float and sink experiment with simple objects.

Emphasize not wasting water.

 

Materials Needed:

Pictures of water sources
Large basin of water
Objects (wood, stone, spoon, leaf)
Towels
Uses of water chart

 

Movement Break:

Pretend to bathe and wash clothes.

 

Creative Time:

Colour rain and tap pictures.

Draw a plant being watered.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “Water comes from rain and tap. We use water every day.”
Pupils repeat: “rain, tap, drink, wash.”
