Show toy traffic light and discuss red, yellow, green.

Talk about safe road behavior.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Role-play crossing the road safely in classroom.

Teach road safety song.

Discuss holding adult’s hand.

Set up road safety scenario with toy cars and crossing mat.

 

Materials Needed:
Traffic light model (red, yellow, green), road safety posters, toy cars, road crossing mat, pedestrian crossing pictures, road safety storybooks

 

Movement Break:

Pretend crossing road safely following traffic lights.

Creative Time:

Draw traffic lights and pedestrian crossings.

Act out road safety scenarios in small groups.
