  3. Explain simple ways to care for domestic animals (feeding, cleaning, shelter).
  4. Participate in games and songs about domestic animals.

 

Circle Time (5–10 minutes):

Introduce the term “domestic animals.”

Show pictures of domestic animals and their homes.

Pupils repeat animal names.

 

Main Activity (Hands-On):

Identify domestic animals in pictures or toys.

Discuss where animals live (kennel, coop, cage).

Teacher demonstrates feeding and caring for animals.

If possible, visit domestic animals safely.

Flashcards

Charts showing domestic animals and their homes

Song charts, storybooks, videos (optional)

Animal parade: Pupils walk like dogs, hop like rabbits, flap like chickens.

 

Creative Time:

Colour pictures of domestic animals.

Create simple crafts showing domestic animals and their homes.

 

Language Development:

Teacher: “A dog lives in a kennel. We feed and care for dogs.”

Pupils repeat: “dog, cat, chicken, goat, kennel, coop, care.”
