STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that a bridge is a structure that helps people or cars to cross to the other side

 

She also explains that London is a beautiful city in the United Kingdom where the Queen lives

 

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them the picture of the London bridge falling down. She also shows them the picture of the queen

 

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

London Bridge is falling down
Falling down, falling down
London Bridge is falling down
My fair Lady
