INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the theme song introduces the topic and explains that environment is everything around us

Pupils pay attention

She discusses ways we can keep our environment clean e.g

-      Sweeping the floor

-      Putting litters in the waste bin

-      Pruning our flowers

-      Cutting the grasses around u

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

She lists some materials used in taking care of the environment e.g

-      Brooms

-      Dust pans

-      waste bins

-      Shears

-      Cutlass

-      Rake

 

She takes the pupils on a tour of the school environment and asks them how it could be taken care of

Pupils pay attention and participate

 

EVALUATION:    1. ________ is everything around us. (table, environment)

  1. When we finish our biscuits, where should we throw the wrappers? (on the ground, in the waste bin)
