STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the 12 sons of Jacob and Joseph’s song to introduce the topic.

She explains what a coat of many colours-  A coat of many colours is a coat that has many colours like red, yellow, blue, green etc

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that Jacob was the son of Isaac who had given birth to 12 sons but whose favourite was his 11th son named Joseph

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Joseph

-      How Joseph was sold to a man named Portiphar- an officer in Egypt

-      How Portiphar’s wife had tried to sleep with Joseph and he ran away

-      How Portiphar’s wife had lied against Joseph and he was sent to prison

-      How Joseph interpreted the dreams of the king two servants in prison

-      How the king had a dream and Joseph interpreted it

-      How the king appointed Joseph his second-in-command

-      How Joseph forgave his brothers and was reunited with his brothers and father
